About Me

 

 

After I left my job in finance I re-trained as a massage therapist and set up my own business to offer work-place massage.

 

Without fail, our team of therapists treated people for almost the same sorts of problems – knee, hip, neck and lower back issues. As well as offering a friendly listening ear to workers I hope that our treatments made a difference.

 

But I want to go further than that.

 

My goal is to give YOU the tools to feel better, to think and to live better.

And it begins with your mindset.

 

Your commitment to be happier and healthier can easily be de-railed by the days’ up and downs.  But it’s when you choose to commit to your own personal health goals that’s when things begin to change.

Somehow, those setbacks seem smaller and less important than your path to feeling good about yourself again. You will begin to outgrow your old ways of dealing with obstacles and start to feel that YOU are in charge of  your life.

 

The pain of losing my mother knocked me sideways for quite a few years.

At my lowest point I felt like that I was a hopeless case. Slowly I began to re-build my resilience and make small changes to my daily habits. I committed to getting myself into better shape, both physically and mentally.

 

I changed my diet to eliminate gluten and to eat mainly plant -based wholefoods.

 

I learned, through painful experience, that my body needs more care than ever before.

 

I made my health my personal responsibility, completely guilt-free.

 

I  protect my peace from toxic situations and from people who probably who don’t have my happiness at heart.

 

Getting a sound night’s sleep is non-negotiable. I get up earlier than I need to so that I can enjoy a ‘slow morning’ – gone are the days of getting up late and starting my day in a panic.

 

I can promise you that I have tried or continue to practice all the protocols I talk about. I find it easier to keep going when I find something that works for me, in the time I have available.
